Did anyone see Joaquin Phoenix on David Letterman last night? I heard about it and found it on YouTube. I can't figure out if he is acting or if he is high or....? It's just so bad that it seems like he has to be acting, but then there are times when he does look legitimately confused at what people are laughing at. But he's an actor....so....I just can't tell.

So much pub about this.....I think it's a bit, a gag, a routine......kinda
He stated some time ago that he was giving up acting. But knowing he has to go on this "tour"...promoting this new/last movie of his. Since he's giving up acting but is contractually bound to promote the movie, he's decided to make a mockery of it.
Two fold results....1) no such thing as bad pub 2) additional attention on him and whatever music he may offer us in the future
