Hey Babe, What's Your Sign?

I work with 2 people who I estimate were in the 25-30 age range back in early 70's. Well, I work with more than 2 people in that age range, but these 2 stand out in a special way. They have never lost their 70's swagger. It's hard to explain since none of you have ever seen them, but just think of Saturday Night Fever. These 2 had to have been rockin' the discos on a regular basis with the bell-bottom pants and saying "I can dig it" and drinking Tab. They don't exactly dress right out of the 70's now, but they both still have 70's hair. Not kidding. The guy looks like a member of the Bee Gees and the woman has Farrah hair. And she wears blue eye shadow. Remember those....uh....angel sleeve blouses? Wait....I'll Google....

Found one! Except it's a dress. But still what I was thinking.

This woman at work would have worn that to the discos. I bet she still has one some of her 70's clothes in her closet. And I can totally picture her driving a Datsun 240-Z. I bet it's parked in the parking garage! If they weren't married, they would be going out for fondue and tiling their apartment walls with mirrors together :)

...you need to sneak a pic of these jokers and post it. Bee Gees hair and Farrah hair is essentially the same thing right ?

Haha - it's true....Bee Gees and Farrah are the same hair!

Love Glee. Sue is one of the best parts of the show!

I am a bit unclear...Are you saying this in a kind and loving way, or are you being catting and hurtful?

Since you are unclear, let me clear it up:

I wasn't being catty or hurtful but I would not classify it as kind or loving either. I think it was written in a neutral tone and is merely an observation made about 2 people and their style. Saying they have never lost their 70's swagger, or any of the other things I said, isn't meant to come off as an insult....it's just a fact about them. There is nothing between the lines here.

 Hello, I'm still here!
