Here's my card for Kristina Werner's One Layer Card Challenge. It's so fun to have another challenge from her :)
It's been quite a while since I've made a one layer card. With all the embellishments out there, my one layer cards always seem plain. However, I really like how this one turned out and I find it anything but plain. I used stamps from one set and two inks. The background in the corner is stamped in a very pale pink to fill in some of the white space. Then I stamped my design in red over that and added the sentiment. Stitching lines finished it off. I think I might make several and keep them on hand for when I need a thank you card. They take around 5 minutes to make!

Thanks for the kind comments on my blog. I love what you did for this one layer challenge, so beautiful.
BEAUTIFUL card! :)
I love the striking red color on the white cardstock. Great design!
I certainly agree ... anything but plain ... fabulous one layer design.
Any but plain is so true, I love the red on white, so striking. Also your grouping is fantastic. The video below is pretty darn funny.
I love the way you stamped one side and left more white space on the other... the dual coloured stamping looks great too!
Woooow! This is truly an eyecatcher!!!
